The State Archives in Paznin – one of our ICARUS members – is staging the following conference:
The International Scientific Conference Istrian economy yesterday and tomorrow, will be held on 22 November in Pazin and 23 November in Pula. It is organized by The State Archives in Pazin, in co-organization with the Juraj Dobrila University of Pula and the Cá Foscari University of Venice.

The Institute of Austrian Historical Studies (Institut für Österreichische Geschichtsforschung – IÖG) invites to it´s 151st seminar with a lecture and book presentation from Juraj Šedivý (Comenius-Universität in Pressburg/Bratislava):
“The beginnings of Pressburg/Bratislava”
The new project of the Comenius University in Bratislava presents the first of fife volumes about „The history of Pressburg“. The new city history is written in cooperation of historians from the Slovak Republic, Hungary, Austria and the Czech Republic.
Within the framework of the EU-project “ENArC” the General Directorate of the State Archives of Bavaria (DE) is organising the workshop “Lesesaal Internet – Erfahrungen, Ergebnisse und Wünsche auf dem Weg zu einer digitalen Forschungslandschaft archivischer Quellenbestände” on 11 March 2014.
