The “Deutsche Arbeitsgemeinschaft Genealogischer Vereine / German Association of Genealogical Societies“ (DAGV, www.dagv.org) and ICARUS sealed their future cooperation at the 67th German Genealogy Day in Gotha (DE).

The DAGV is an international network of more than 80 genealogical societies and represents more than 22.000 members. The reciprocal accession of both organisations marks the starting signal to pursue the pioneering endeavor to fuse the international network of archival institutions with the biggest group of those researchers who actively resort to archives.

This future-oriented cooperation will make an avid exchange in the fields of information, experience and strategy possible aiming at tackling the challenges of the digital era as a team.
