the Centre for Advanced Medieval Studies

A warm welcome to the consortium and we are looking forward to future cooperation with you! Here is a short introduction on the CAMS from their website: “The Centre for Advanced Medieval Studies was established in 2011 by a group of medievalists from Belgrade (employed at the  Institute of History, Institute for Balkan Studies of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, Institute for Byzantine Studies of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, the Faculty of Philosophy and the National Library of Serbia). The Centre is promoting the study of the medieval past in South-Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean. In accordance with the proclaimed goals of the international scientific cooperation, the Centre has launched a journal named Initial – A Review of Medieval Studies, which will be publishing scholarly contributions (papers, source materials, reviews etc.) from all academic fields concerning medieval subject matters.”
